If you’re staying with us in Ogunquit for OgunquitFest 2026, block off the whole weekend. It’s the town’s biggest event of the season — three full days of car shows, craft fairs, costume parades, and enough going on that you genuinely can’t do it all, so don’t try.

This is the 23rd year running, and it’s grown into one of the best-known fall festivals in New England. The whole town leans into it — downtown, Perkins Cove, Main Beach, all part of the action.

What to Expect

OgunquitFest runs Friday through Sunday, October 23–25, 2026, spread across a few key spots in town:

• Classic car show at Main Beach (Saturday) — a solid hour of wandering if you’re into vintage cars, and even if you’re not
• Artisan craft fair — 50+ vendors at the Dunaway Center and Dorothea Jacobs Grant Common, all weekend
• Kids’ trick-or-treating downtown and in Perkins Cove
• Dogtoberfest costume parade — exactly what it sounds like, and one of the more popular photo ops of the weekend
• High Heel Dash (Sunday, Perkins Cove) — a benefit race for the Frannie Peabody Center, more fun spectator sport than serious athletic event
• Art walk with live painting demos, plus food trucks and live music at the Common throughout
• Oktoberfest party Sunday afternoon at Cornerstone Artisanal Pizza and Craft Beer, a nice way to close out the weekend

Late October in Ogunquit means foliage, cooler air, and a town that’s clearly having fun with the season. Pick one or two things from the list above rather than trying to hit every event — Saturday for the car show and craft fair, Sunday for the High Heel Dash and Oktoberfest, is a good split if you’re staying the whole weekend.
